Planning an Easter brunch inspired this bright, festive appetizer. I’m thrilled with how they turned out and they’re easy to assemble for a crowd.

Crostini Recipe with Hard Boiled Eggs
Crostini are small slices of toasted baguette topped with flavorful ingredients. To make them, brush thin slices of baguette with olive oil or butter and toast on a baking sheet until golden.
Once toasted, add your chosen toppings. These crostini pair creamy, sliced hard-boiled eggs with peppery arugula and thinly sliced radishes for a fresh, spring-ready bite.
There are so many variations—try savory options like avocado or smoked salmon, or sweet toppings like Nutella and strawberries for dessert crostini.

Ingredients in Hard Boiled Egg Crostini
- Radish – I found colorful Easter radishes with purple, pink and white hues.
- Arugula
- Olive oil (or butter)
- French baguette
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- Hard boiled eggs
Tip: It’s convenient to boil the eggs the day before and keep them refrigerated. You can even peel and slice them ahead of time to save prep on the day you serve.

After arranging the toppings, finish with a light drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt and freshly ground pepper. Arrange the crostini on a platter and serve them before the main brunch so guests can nibble while everything else finishes.

Quick tip — boiling and peeling the eggs a day ahead saves time and makes assembly fast on the morning of your event.
